Following the Friday night performance by The Canal Street String Band, I’ll be spending some time on Saturday demonstrating and teaching a few “homespun” musical diversions from the 19th-century lumber camps.
Come learn to play the spoons (I’ll bring a big bag of plastic ones, or feel free to bring you own!), and try your hand at the bones and washboard. I’ll bring and demonstrate several jaw harps too.
